Music & Vocal Expression

In this hands-on class, students will explore music through creativity, technology, and self-expression. Using beginner-friendly, free tools such as BandLab, students will create beats, experiment with loops, write song lyrics, record vocals, and complete fun music production projects. Along the way, they will develop confidence, creativity and communication skills while learning how music is created from idea to finished song. No prior music experience is required—just a willingness to create, explore, and express yourself through music!
Spoken Word & Poetry
7th - 12th
In this creative class, students will explore the art of poetry, storytelling, and spoken word performance. Through engaging writing activities and creative prompts, students will learn how to express their thoughts, experiences, and ideas through the power of words. They will write original poems, experiment with different styles of poetry, and develop confidence in presenting their work to others. This class encourages creativity, self-expression, communication, and public speaking in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The Novel Project
7th - 12th
Have you ever dreamed of writing your own book? In this exciting class, students will take their ideas from concept to completion as they write a short novel from start to finish. Along the way, students will learn how to develop memorable characters, build engaging plots, create believable settings, and write compelling dialogue. Through guided lessons, writing challenges, and peer feedback, students will make steady progress on their stories while developing creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills. By the end of the course, each student will have completed their very own short novel.

In this interactive class, students will explore their unique strengths, interests, values, personality traits, and God-given gifts while learning practical tools for setting goals and making purposeful decisions. Through self-discovery activities, creative projects, journaling, discussions, and real-world applications, students will gain a deeper understanding of who they are and the impact they can make in the world. This class is designed to help teens build confidence, develop leadership skills, and take meaningful steps toward a future that aligns with their passions and purpose.
